Lionel Sanchez joined KM Associates 10 years ago as a NYC Department of Transportation expediter, and was promoted to project manager in 2011. He has extensive knowledge of all phases of projects, ranging from initial approval with multiple agencies, to permits and closeouts. Lionel has successfully managed hundreds of construction projects to secure approval with NYC agencies, including the Department of Buildings, Department of Transportation, School Construction Authority, Landmarks Preservation Commission, and Fire Department of New York.
Key projects he has worked on include the Emergency Medical Station New Building at Goethals Avenue in Queens, the High Line, and numerous flood elimination and restoration filings for New York City schools affected by Hurricane Sandy. Lionel has also worked on many fast-paced retail projects, such as Starbucks, Ann Taylor, FedEx, Swarovski, Loft, Tory Burch, and Vince. Also trained as a computer technician, he works closely with an internal team of 40 employees to help improve office efficiency using available technology. Lionel attended Briarcliffe College in Long Island City, NY.
