For 25 years KM Associates has worked on Verizon’s portfolio of buildings in the five boroughs and beyond. We have been intimately involved with maintaining the buildings for full compliance with local codes. We provide services from approvals, inspections, and sign offs with various agencies. Our inspections services encompass mechanical, steel/concrete and provide licenses that specialize in certifying inspections and sign offs for fuel storage systems.

KM Associates prepared new building applications for earthwork, GC, mechanical, and structural filings with NYC Dept of Buildings. We created a CO matrix identifying all open applications/violations, coordinated all temporary and final inspections for obtaining sign off with NYC DOB Construction Inspection Division and assisted with trade sign offs. KM Associates was also hired for Phase 2 pre-construction survey of parking facility services included vibration and optical monitoring.

We prepared filings related to infrastructure upgrades including boilers and fuel oil systems, generator, and fuel storage replacements — structural, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler, etc. We coordinated all special and energy code compliance inspections and met with DOB Chief Inspector of the Fuel Storage Unit to verify compliance and obtain final Certificate of Approval for the fuel storage system.
