Fire Protection Plan
Did you know that your property may require a fire protection plan? According to the NYC Building Code, new buildings and alteration applications for existing buildings that meet specific stipulations need a fire protection plan. These requirements include, but are not limited to:
- High-rise buildings
- Properties that include an assembly space for 300 or more persons
- Certain occupancy groups that meet specific conditions outlined in the NYC Building Code
It is important to know if your property requires a fire protection plan. Without it, you could be at risk of preventing a Certificate of Occupancy from being issued.
