The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued the 2016 Holiday Construction Embargo for NYCDOT construction permits, which will be in effect on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6am to 11:59pm and again from Monday, November 21, 2016 from 6am through Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:59pm. In preparation for this year’s U.S.A Women’s Soccer Ticker Tape Parade, a Department of Buildings and Department of Transportation Special Event Construction Embargo will be in effect in areas throughout Lower Manhattan.
